Well,  it is January 23rd and the lights are coming down now.   I always hate this time of the year not because of the work that it takes to get the lights down and reorganized and put away but because the lights are off.  It just seems alittle bit darker around here right now.  But as we say in our house let’s move on!  So we are!  We have already started planning 2010 display.

Something new is happening!    Every year during the holidays Magic 96.5 FM does their Magic Christmas Wish program.  This program helps families around the area who can not afford a Christmas for their children or families that are going through a difficult time.  Every year I listen to the stories and every year I cry saying there is got to be something that I can do to help…..well there is!   I am happy to announce that we will be taking donations for the Magic Christmas Wish at our light display this year!  We will have a donation box and anything and everything that is put into the box will be given to Magic Christmas Wish! 

Don’t worry we will NOT start charging  people to come and see the lights we do this crazy thing for our community and we will never charge.  We just want to give people the opportunity to give if they choice to do so. 

So, Grayson Lights 2010 will bigger and better so please tell your friends about us and we can’t wait to see you this Christmas season which is the best time of the year!
